Vid sidan av Svenska Röda Korsets egna policyer finns Federationens (IFRC) policyer som är direkt gällande för Svenska Röda Korset.
"National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies are bound by 23 global policies that they have adopted through the bi-annual IFRC General Assembly. National Societies and the IFRC have also taken on a number of further commitments, both through Movement and external fora."
SRK tar fram egen policy i de fall där det saknas vägledande policy från IFRC eller där IFRCs policy behöver tolkas till svensk/SRK kontext. Precis som för SRK policy behöver vi ha en plan för hur säkerställer tillämpning och uppföljning av IFRC policy.
